When an "easy hike" turns into rock climbing... but the view was entirely worth it!

My first solo trip to volunteer at the Rio Olympics, made friends with some locals and decided to join on an “easy hike” to pedra da Gavea. Turns out 3 hours later with some sheer face rock climbing it’s a bit harder than they let on! But the view was entirely worth it!!! I have since been back twice in honour of one of the locals that walked with me as he sadly died in 2018.
